Yes, there is resistance to Vice President Harris--based on merits, not her skin color or even her sex.
I live in Texas, so Harris's underwhelming response to the border situation massively did not impress me.
Now, that may simply have been because an open border was Biden's actual policy; therefore, truly sending Harris out to assess the problem would have made no sense from the Biden administration's point of view. All I know is, had President George W. Bush given VP Cheney similar instructions, he would have been on a plane to El Paso the very next morning. He would not have treated the directive as a joke.
Next is Harris's awful record when it comes to public speaking. Every time I hear her mention flow charts, school buses, or the moon, I want to cringe.
Third, her general dishonesty. She has been a full participant in the cover-up surrounding President Biden's cognitive and physical decline. Had she and the administration been honest about that, we would not now be having this discussion. Biden would have resigned, citing his health, and Harris would already have assumed his office.
If you ask me, the Biden administration, more than anything but her own lack of strong leadership, is what has fostered resistance to Harris. Her skin color is completely irrelevant.
