Wonderful, wonderful article!!! Honestly, I think it's criminal for parents of a Deaf child to not learn sign language in favor of giving their child cochlear implants. Adapt to the child. Let the child communicate in the way that is most natural and comfortable for him/her. I am so glad you wrote this and so glad I read it.
