When I first came to Medium I knew nothing about claps. Then I found out you could give 50 and I couldn't figure out why I ever would. What would be the point? Wasn't one clap good enough to convey that I liked the story? It's good enough on YouTube.

At this point I usually give 10 claps because I still think 50 is ridiculous unless I really, really like a story.
