That's actually how I got my first 100 followers; one of my articles went (relatively) viral because it was about a well-known YouTuber who kindly mentioned on Twitter that it made his day. That is what pushed me over 100. I was expecting to take an entire month or more to reach the 100 follower goal, but I made it in 20 days.
