Sciatica Sucks — How Well Does the BeActive Plus Knee Brace Ease Sciatica Pain?

As seen on TV!

Note: I am not in the Amazon Affiliate Program for this product.

My BeActive Plus knee brace arrived from Amazon last Tuesday, and not a moment too son! I was on my fourth day of tapered prednisolone tablets, and my leg was letting me know that three pills for the day wasn’t going to cut it.

My voice lesson was scheduled for that night, so I figured that would be an excellent way to test how well the brace works, as any good singer has to stand to sound their best.

So I put the thing on. It’s a lot like a blood pressure cuff, with a plastic bar that you have to pull the end flap through and then pull it snug and fold it over, patting the Velcro in place. Walking with it is, again, a lot like walking around with a blood pressure cuff wrapped around your upper calf. It will fit under your pants leg if you wear loose enough slacks. You get used to it.

I can only speak for how well this brace works for sciatic nerve pain. I have no opinion at all about how well it helps ease osteoarthritis pain.

Putting on the BeActive Plus knee brace.
