My personal opinion is, if one spouse doesn't want any more children, then the couple should not have more children, period. Ideally, raising a child takes two fully committed parents, not one committed parent and one parent who resents the 'exrra' child.

In some cases, the resentful parent could wind up loving the child just like all the others, but who wants to take the risk?
