My assertion that God sends no one to Hell; we send ourselves there is based on the reports of dozens of near-death experiences I have read or listened to.

These are people who have died, seen the afterlife, and who have either asked to return to life or who have been told their work on Earth was not yet completed, and it was not their time to die, so they must continue living.

Usually, people who die have good experiences of the afterlife. Some people, though, have bad experiences, which they describe as hellish. However, if they call out to the God of their choice, they are pulled out of the hellish place and are united with God. All you have to do is ask.

We are all already part of God, for God is in everything and is everything. When we ask to be freed from Hell, we are simply expressing our willingness to finally acknowledge that God was with us all along.
