It's amazing to me how some of the bizarre things religion would have us believe--for instance, that God knows every blade of grass--are true, but not in the way religion means them.
I always figured, "God knows every blade of grass" was ridiculous because I felt that God does not micromanage the universe.
Then I started listening to accounts of NDEs, and my attitude changed to awe. "God isn't a micromanager; this is just the way God IS. God is EVERYTHING. God is all of us. We are all literally a part of God. We are ALL interconnected."
I am so glad it gave you comfort after your mother's death; it has done the same for me since my mother died. It has helped me accept the deaths of aunts, uncles, and close friends.
