Isabel has basically proven herself to be self-centered. She's the kind of employee I would never promote because she isn't really committed to the business' mission. Alex is committed to it.

Isabelle wants all her rewards up front and isn't willing to give anything extra; Alex is willing to be patient and to give of himself for the team. Not only that, but he's diplomatic. Isabelle is probably an open book to him.
