If I ever thought I would be able to earn a decent income from Medium, my experience so far has convinced me otherwise. I would dearly love to know how some authors make $1000 or more a month on this platform.

I am mainly here, though, to develop a portfolio of articles that I can use to advertise my skills to paying freelance clients, so if I don't earn a lot here, that's fine. This is my sandbox, not my storefront. I enjoy reading the articles here and learning from other people, so I'm glad to be here, and my subscription fee is entirely worth it.
