I was lucky enough to find a church that practices what I believe in, so I switched from Catholicism to the Episcopal Church

In the Episcopal Church people who are LGBT are accepted. Female clergy are accepted, and the Church deals with clergy who commit sex offenses against parishioners instead of shuffling them from parish to parish for decades.

If I were going to ever leave Christianity it would be because of studying near-death experiences, which show that being a good, kind, loving person is far more important to God than following some religious doctrine that human beings made up.
