I think part of the problem is in the term.

I suspect I might be an HSP, because I'm an introvert, crave peace and quiet, and am stressed by noise and clutter.

But the term, "Highly Sensitive Person" makes even me cringe in distaste and think of less flattering terms, such as "snowflake" and "Karen." I would not want to be called or considered an HSP, despite likely being one.

There's got to be a better term we can use to not be dismissed by people who are mellow with stress, like Easily Over-Stimulated Person or something with fewer connotations of being high-strung.
