I study near-death experiences, and that is what they teach. Atheism is fine. Being gay is fine. None of that alters the unconditional love that God has for us. There is no Hell, save that which we create for ourselves--and if we find ourselves there in the afterlife, we can leave it behind if we ask for God's help. Maybe that sounds corny, but many NDEs allude to the same thing.
