I get being 'done' with working if you didn't have much of a young adulthood, but...two of the people Jonny is being asked to support are his WIFE's parents. So she ought to step up.

Also--many, many people work all of their lives until retirement age. I plan to, as well. This wife is coming across as very selfish, to me. I can see what will happen. If he tries to divorce her, she'll take him for every penny he's got, and his retirement savings, too. Sheesh.

It's very unfair of her to burden him with the financial responsibility for supporting two extra people who lacked the foresight to ensure their own financial safety in old age.

And then she has the gall to be upset that he canceled an expensive vacation? Honestly, this sounds like spousal abuse.
