Occasionally, I find that people I have followed who have less than 100 followers either write too poorly to hold my interest, or the subjects they write about don't interest me. I follow-for-follow them because I believe in helping other writers get to where we all want to be--but I don't want to be permanently obligated to that if they don't improve once we are well past 100 followers or if I'm just not interested in what they write about.

I figure, if I unfollow them and they do improve, I'll find them again and can refollow them if I want to.
